I didn't know what to expect with Elden Ring, as I started playing it because it was popular, but I was quite blown away with the gameplay & the open world design.

There is so much to this world - everywhere I went it felt like there was another nook or cranny that had something useful & valuable. The design of the world, I thought, was where it excelled

The melancholy nature of the game, the hollow feeling of former glory... That is something that resonates with me at this moment in time.
